Tie Dye On Tie Dye

Wearing: Vintage denim jacket, Lulu and Pan shorts, T-shirt from Bali, Demonia Creepers, Karen Walker sunglasses

Recently, a few of my friends and I decided to stay in the Blue Mountains for one night and spent both days hiking in the bushes. The second day hike was spent in Lithgow, where we climbed rocks, jumped (and fell into) puddles, attempted to build a campfire and mainly explored through an incessant amount of overgrowing bush and forest. The weather was beautiful and sunny with a just a hint of overcast to help us through our hike. As we were leaving Lithgow, we passed by this incredible abandoned building which looked almost like an ancient castle. If I remember correctly, I think it was a broken down, old mining building and also a great tripping hazard for me due to my unceasing habit of always falling over.
So about my outfit, I just have to say that this is probably my most favourite t-shirt I own, which I cut up into a tank. It is The Simpsons posing as The Beatles on their Abbey Road EP cover. Not too sure what I was channeling when I decided to wear a double amount of tie dye, but I do believe it turned out okay. Hope you like my outfit, this shoot was really unplanned!

Sun-light Denim

A few weeks ago, I managed to shoot with my super talented friend Angie Osman. If you have been following me from the beginning, you will have seen a previous shoot we did together in my post called "Rusty gold doorknob". In this shoot above, Angie's vision was to tone things down and create a very simple look with minimal make-up and basic clothing. I know this isn't a fashion related post, but I thought I'd share it to you all anyway as I always find her photography so striking and natural. If you want to see the rest of the shoot and also find her previous work, follow her here: http://angieosman.tumblr.com/
