Stoned.

Wearing: YSL ring, "Jaded" Revlon nail polish.

It's a terrible rainy day in Sydney today, so I thought I would pop up a post about a new little addition to my jewellery box! Just recently, my sister came back from Europe and amongst her travels in Paris, picked me up this wonderful cocktail ring by Yves Saint Laurent. This magnificent ring in turquoise, has been on my radar since I could ever remember and has left me breathless whenever I have sighted it. It is now my new favourite item and I just could not wait to show it off to all of you and especially Instagram, which I recently just set up! So if you own an iPhone (or any other phone that downloads apps), get onto Instagram and follow me @kateyess .

Miss Unkonventional Alexa

Wearing: Miss Unkon shirt, Wittner heels, thrifted leather skirt and mesh clutch.

Alexa Chung (former british model and fashion’s ‘it girl’), as you may have already been aware, made an appearance as international ambassador of Sydney’s 30 Days of Fashion and beauty in early September. If you were like me and daily style-stalked her perfectly chic outfits, you would have noticed her wearing Sydney-based fashion label Miss Unkon! The ‘Sea Breeze’ top by Miss Unkon, is flawlessly perfect in every way. From the tie and bow brooch detail at the top of the collar, to the unique cuff link styled chains at the ends of the cuffs, I could not have found a more elegant yet edgy shirt.

As my first post, I especially wanted to blog about this shirt as I was left breathless after seeing it originally on the wonderful Alexa Chung. Most importantly the reason as to why it meant so dearly to me, was through the loving team at Miss Unkon who provided me with this shirt as an incredible birthday present! I could not be more thankful towards their generosity! Miss Unkon 'Sea Breeze' top available from Princess Polly boutique in Pitt St Westfield.
